Closed for the season, will open May 2018.
City House is our seasonal home in Saint Paul right on the Mississippi River in a restored grain elevator. We are right on a bike trail and we have bike racks, so stop by for a refreshment after your bike ride! We have a beautiful patio that overlooks the river, downtown Saint Paul and Harriet Island. City house is a great place to spend time with friends and family or to sit, grab a drink and watch the boats go by. Bring your four-legged friends, we are dog friendly!
We serve a variety of food from Kimchi Philly Nachos to Veggie Tacos and a Cubano. We do have gluten-free and vegetarian options. We serve local craft beer, cider, and wine on tap.
We occasionally host private events at City House. Want more info? Click here.
Construction on City House began in 1927, and today it stands as an important reminder of Saint Paul's history as a Mississippi River port city. Formerly known as the Saint Paul Municipal Elevator and Sackhouse, City House stands as a reminder of Saint Paul's history as a port city, the history of grain marketing in the Twin Cities, the Midwest and the nation, and the rivalry between St. Paul and Minneapolis.
Visit the National Park Service Saint Paul Municipal Elevator and Sackhouse website for more information on the historical significance of City House.
