CITY HOUSE

City House is our seasonal home in Saint Paul right on the Mississippi River in a restored grain elevator. We are right on a bike trail and we have bike racks, so stop by for a refreshment after your bike ride! We have a beautiful patio that overlooks the river, downtown Saint Paul and Harriet Island. City house is a great place to spend time with friends and family or to sit, grab a drink and watch the boats go by.

We serve a variety of food, including our award-winning Cubano! We do have gluten-free and vegetarian options. We serve local craft beer, cider, and wine on tap. Menu changes frequently based on the seasons and availability of ingredients.

THE HISTORY

Construction on City House began in 1927, and today it stands as an important reminder of Saint Paul's history as a Mississippi River port city. Formerly known as the Saint Paul Municipal Elevator and Sackhouse, City House stands as a reminder of Saint Paul's history as a port city, the history of grain marketing in the Twin Cities, the Midwest and the nation, and the rivalry between St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Visit the National Park Service Saint Paul Municipal Elevator and Sackhouse website for more information on the historical significance of City House.
