The RRK is inspired by an old ox-cart trail that stretched from Winnipeg to the Twin Cities. Travelers on the Red River Trail relied upon local provisions. We pay homage to this part of MN history by specializing in scratch cooking using many farm-direct MN food purveyors.
Red River Kitchen is locally owned and independently operated by the Republic team, an award-winning craft beer bar and restaurant in MPLS and a location at MSP Airport. Red River Kitchen is a three truck fleet! We have one mobile food truck, one mobile 'Tap Van' liquor catering truck and a 2nd food truck parked full time at our seasonal operation in St. Paul called City House, right on the Mississippi River.
